Meteorological Tower Data
As part of the OMI project, the University of Ghana has partnered with the Ghana Meteorological Agency and WHOI to establish a new meteorological station at the Jamestown Fishing Harbour. The 10-meter tower carries instruments to measure wind, air temperature, humidity, solar radiation, infrared radiation, precipitation, barometric pressure, and air quality. These data can be used with other OMI data to understand how the coastal Gulf of Guinea responds to atmospheric forcing.
